Abstract: The aim of this article is to describe a new set of nuclear parton distribution functions (nuclear PDFs) at next-to-leading order (NLO) and next-to-next-to-leading order (NNLO) accuracy in perturbative QCD. The most commonly used nuclear deep-inelastic scattering (DIS) data analyzed in this study are complemented by the available charged-current neutrino DIS experimental data with nuclear targets. The analysis also incorporates the data from Drell-Yan (DY) cross-section ratios for several nuclear targets. The nature of dark matter is one of the major mysteries in particle physics and cosmology. Among many dark matter scenarios, two prominent candidates are heavy WIMPs and light Axion particles. In this talk, I will start by reviewing some of the theoretical aspects of WIMPs and Axion particles as dark matter candidates. I emphasize the class of axion particles with a mass of about 10^{-22} ev and a de Broglie wavelength of the order of astrophysical distances called Fuzzy dark matter. Abstract:

This study demonstrates the effect of substrate’s geometrical cues on viability and the efficacy of an anti-cancer drug, doxorubicin (DOX), on breast cancer cells. It is hypothesized that the surface topographical properties can mediate the cellular drug intake.
